in the night
the eyes see
the sea of stars
in the night
the waves water
your pure soul
in the night
the tears fall
from high in the sky
in the ocean of feelings
turned into silver mysteries
clarity
when I arrived
I didn't see you...
you were hiding yourself beyond an eon
when I came back
I saw you in my dream...

I felt like you've been here...
since the dawn of time
dreaming

I fall asleep on a cloud

I breathe like the moon

pure frozen water
silver surface

reality reincarnated
close distance

Gabriela Marin is a graduate of the University of Bucharest, Romania, from the Foreign Languages Department, specializing in French and English. She also holds a Master’s degree in Applied Linguistics – Didactique du Français Langue Étrangère – from Université des Antilles, Martinique.
Her poetry explores minimalist expression—short, elliptical lines often written without capital letters or punctuation—conveying emotion through elegant simplicity. Her works have been published in six languages (Romanian, English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, and Italian) in literary platforms and magazines across Romania, Canada, USA, Australia, France, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Holland, Israel, Moldavia, Spain, Peru, Chile, Mexico, Brazil, Venezuela, and Argentina.
Gabriela is also passionate about music, theatre, film, graphology, psychology, body language, and travel.
