“ART Group Act” from Valjevo announces a competition for the Almanac of Short Forms
Authors can submit their unpublished works in the following categories:
Short Story (up to two short stories, each up to 15 lines)
Short Poem (up to two short poems, each up to 16 lines, including spaces between stanzas)
Haiku (up to 5 haikus)
An author can compete in up to two categories of their choice. The jury will select the works to be published in the almanac and award diplomas to the best in each category. The selected works will be printed in the Almanac.
No author copies are provided. (After the publication of the Almanac, the author may purchase one or more copies.)
Each author will receive the results of the judging by email.
The competition lasts from April 6 to May 6, 2025.
It is required that the author provide their full name, year and place of birth, address, email, phone number, and a short biography. (All should be submitted in one document) to the email: akt.art.grupa@gmail.com
Works should be submitted in Serbian, Montenegrin, Bosnian, or Croatian without translation, and in other languages with a translation into Serbian.

The results will be published no later than two months after the competition ends, by July 6, 2025.
